Peninsula Oil Separation was started in 1996 and has grown to become one of the biggest oil trap cleaning companies in the Western Cape. We currently have a client base of over 500 companies.
We specialise in finding waste solutions for companies with high waste disposal costs. More than just removing waste, we also assist companies in analysing their waste management processes in order to ensure adherence to municipal by-laws.
Our experienced crews receive regular in-house training to ensure that all services are carried out to the highest standards. Our vehicles are specifically designed to transport heavy solid and liquid waste.
We are a registered waste service provider for the City of Cape Town. We are able to provide full documentation for health & safety and environmental audits.
Services
Oil trap cleaning & maintenance and safe disposal
Cleaning and maintaining of oil traps and oil separators. Certificates of safe disposal are issued with each service. We are a registered Waste Service Provider with the City of Cape Town. We supply all documentation needed for Health & Safety and Environmental audits.
Sampling of oil traps effluent discharge
We arrange sampling of the separators to ensure the water quality discharging to the sewer complies with municipal regulations. We use the same laboratory as the City of Cape Town.
Collection of used oil filters and rags
We supply coloured wheelie bins for used oil filters and used oily rags. We arrange collections and disposal of the oil filters and oily rags. Safe disposal certificates are supplied with each collections

Supply of oil traps
We supply oil separators/oil traps for washbays. They are constructed of polyethylene which is acid and oil resistant. The separators are council approved. We also design washbays and separators systems.
Used oil collection: We collect your used engine oil and we pay you.
